Rivers - for a refreshing bath in the unpolluted river Merse, go to the village of Brenna .
The most beautiful spot is reached by crossing the river and walking along its shore for about 1 Km.
You will find a derelict house where you can park your car; then walk along the road on the right to the river.

Terme di Petriolo - on the road towards Grosseto, about 20 km. to the south, there are hot springs
( aprox. 30 degrees C ) which you can visit for free. After a health-giving bath in the springs you can dive into the cool waters of the river that flows next to it.

Sea - 10 km. of  free beach between Punta Ala and Follonica - some of the most beautiful beaches of Tuscany. About an hour from Le Scopaie in the direction of Grosseto you will find Parco Naturale
dell' Uccellina, a wonderful natural oasis. You can get close to the sea passing through an old pine forest where buffalo and Maremmani horses are bred.

Lago dell'Accesa - one and half hours by car in the direction of Massa Marittima, a small country lake whose water is a highly refreshing mixture of sweet and hot-spring water. On its banks you can have a nice picnic in the shadow of the trees.
